Ms. Elowsky received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1999, and was a member of the San Diego Law Review. She then returned to her home state of Michigan where she defended clients in a broad spectrum of cases ranging from discrimination to automobile accidents, including trying cases through verdict.
Upon returning to California, Ms. Elowsky found herself involved in various coverage disputes and thereafter found herself specializing in the world of insurance coverage. Since doing so she has handled environmental, asbestos, construction, and bad faith claims along with a host of others, primarily in the context of commercial policies. Ms. Elowsky’s practice includes the counseling and educating of clients on risk management and best practices.
Construction disputes are not only an area of practice of the firm, but of Ms. Elowsky. In this arena, Ms. Elowsky litigates claims of construction defects, construction delays, and assists her clients in pursuing and obtaining insurance coverage. Ms. Elowsky is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, Queen’s Bench, and the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance.
When not pouring over insurance policies, Ms. Elowsky enjoys travel and concerts.
